Welcome to Youths Foundation

Youth Core Values Foundation (YCVF) is a non Governmental, non profit making charitable organisation. It is a faith based organisation which pays more attention to the needs of the poor young people (male and female), women and children. The foundation pools its resources together to make a difference, to reach out to the poor and the needy.

What We Do

YCVF assist the poor and the needy including young people, women and children in skills acquisition, small scale enterprises and other empowerment programmes. Aside from the above, the poor are fed and the naked clothed through series of its outreach programmes.

Our Operational Principles

We are propelled by such spiritual principles like Mattew 25: 31-46.

When the Son of man comes in his glory....All nations will be assembled before him and he will separate people one from another as the Shepherd separates sheep from goats....Then the king will say to those on his right hand, "Come, you whom my Father has blessed, take as your heritage the kingdom prepared for you since the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you made me welcome, lacking clothes and you clothed me, sick and you visited me, in prison and you came to see me.....

Psalm 41:1-3

Blessed is anyone who cares for the poor and the sick; in time of trouble, Yahweh rescues him. Yahwey protects him, gives him life and happiness on earth. Do not abandone him to his enemies pleasure! Yahweh sustains him on his bed of sickness; you transform altogether the bed where lies sick.

... No, when you have a party, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind; then you will be blessed, for they have no means to repay you and so you will be repaid when the upright rise again.

Isaiah 58:6-12

Is no this the sort of fasting that pleases me: To break unjust fetters, to undo the thongs of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break all yokes? Is it not sharing your food with the hungry, and sheltering the homeless poor; if you see someone lacking clothes to clothe him, and not to turn away from your own Kin P then your light will blaze out like the dawn and your wound be quickly healed over. Saving justice for you will go ahead and Yahweh's glory come behind you. Then you will cry for help and Yahweh will answer; you will call and he will say, "I am here..."

Tobit 4: 7-11

Set aside part of your goods for almsgiving. Never turn your face from the poor and God will never turn his from you. Measure your alms by what you have, if you have much, give more; if you have little, do not be afraid to give less in alms. So doing, you will lay up for yourself a great tresure for the day of necessity. For almsgiving delivers from death and saves people from passing down to darksness. Almsgiving is a most effective offering for all those who do it in the presence of the Most High.

Tobit 4: 16-17

Give your bread to those who are hungry, and your clothes to those who lack clothing. Of whatever you own in plenty, devote a proportion to almsgiving; and when you give alms, do it ungrudgingly....
